The questions people actually ask — answered plainly. Each one points to something real you can do on ARTSSN.
- How do I protect my art online?
- Register your work on ARTSSN to create a dated record of your authorship claim, identifying details, and available file fingerprint. Share its IPFN verification page to let others inspect that evidence. Registration does not decide copyright ownership or guarantee that a work cannot be copied.
- What is a website other than Instagram that feels good for artists?
- On ARTSSN you can set up a public studio for your work and links, discover other artists, and participate in book communities and Tabletalks. Your signed-in workspace and your public studio are separate places; you choose what to publish.
- How do I publish my images?
- Open image registration from Home or the Studio room, upload your file, complete its details, and review before Register. Saving a draft, registering its claim, and displaying a work are separate actions. A display preview can differ from the stored original file.
- How do I sell my images?
- A work can be offered through a configured store listing. Check the product, available variants, price, and delivery terms in the actual store and checkout. Registering an image or showing it in the gallery does not automatically list it for sale.
- How do I do preorders for my book?
- BV Press authors with publishing access can start a Print Run campaign for a publication. An interest page collects signups; an active campaign can offer paid bundles through checkout. Read the campaign’s current terms and confirmation to distinguish an update signup from a paid order.
- How do I take my books to the next level?
- Create a Bookend to connect a book’s record, editions, author, and readers. Its public page can include a guestbook and the extras configured for that book. Bookend registration, a BV Press publishing relationship, and a print-run campaign are separate steps.
- How do I connect with my readers?
- Share your book’s public Bookend and invite readers to its guestbook, available discussions, and events. Readers sign in to contribute or attend. Use the actions actually offered on the page and wait for their confirmation.
- How do I do email lists?
- Where a print-run campaign offers an interest form, readers can enter their email to request updates for that campaign. Opening a book, reading an article, or signing a guestbook does not automatically subscribe someone. Review the signup explanation and confirmation before relying on it.
- How do I plan an event or a gallery show?
- Use the event creation wizard to enter the event’s details, venue, and time, then review and publish. People choose Attend on its public event page. Gallery design and venue setup use their own tools and permissions; creating an event does not automatically configure a physical exhibition.
- How do I connect with other photographers, authors, and artists?
- Browse images, artists, and published events on ARTSSN, or visit the Common Room to find Tabletalks and the Stammtisch conversation. Join a table to participate in its community; opening a page alone does not join it or attend an event.
